A Summer Dress

Please excuse the complete lack of creativity in the title – it’s not at all a reflection of how excited I actually am about this look! As you probably know, Urban Outfitters had a 30% off *all*dresses and rompers in stores, so I hurried over to the Santa Monica store, braving the crowd, in hopes of scoring one or two cute dresses for the summer. Of course, UO never disappoints. I found this abstract black and white number that I adored as soon as I laid eyes on it. It’s from Silence and Noise, one of my top labels from UO. It has a simple silhouette, but I think the delicate double straps and the classy cut-out on the back make it stand out. I paired it with a dainty choker that I got from UO as well as some sun glasses that I found in a small vintage store in Los Feliz. Since the weather was unpredictable today, I threw on my entrusted Levi’s chore coat that has proven once and again that it goes with anything. Instead of nude sandals that I originally imagined the dress with, I opted for a pair of black sneaker/boots from the brand AGL. Enjoy!
