Having experienced Christmas in Europe and even China, where it actually snows, I sometimes have a hard time getting psyched for Christmas in sunny California. This year, however, I have a bit more free time than ever before. So starting from early December, I already started to buy Christmas presents and deliberately get into the holiday spirit. Today I went to Roger’s Garden in Corona Del Mar with my dad. Roger’s Garden is essentially a garden center, but with its beautiful setup, art gallery, and even a landscape design center, it is a destination in itself. I’ve passed by it countless times and heard lots of nice things about it, so my expectations were high. Thankfully, I was not disappointed.
There was SO much to see. From a traditional Christmas tree farm, an extravagant store, to edible herbs, outdoor furniture, and a gazebo. Here are some of my favorite things:
