You would think that it’s annoying to live in areas flooded with tourists, and for California, that is all year round. Quaint beach towns, however, are an exception. Locals and tourists blend in together much more as everyone is having a relaxing and peaceful time. Whenever I stroll down streets in Laguna Beach, I feel as if I’m on a vacation with my family. Today I went to Brussels Bistro in downtown Laguna – the first Belgian restaurant I’ve been to outside of Belgium. Last year I was lucky enough to go to Belgium with my best friend, and while Brussels is perhaps one of the less exciting European cities, its delicious and distinct food left me with extremely fond memories. Needless to say, I was delighted to find out that Brussels Bistro’s mussels and fries were as authentic as can be.
